I very much enjoyed delivering a breakout session on Difficult Conversations for The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland's #governance24 conference a couple of weeks ago.

We talked about...

💡 How our bodies' vital survival mechanisms often inhibit our ability to have fruitful conversations with our colleagues on tricky topics 💡 How we can overcome our instinctual, unhelpful responses to difficult conversations by reframing our thoughts, recognising our emotions and regulating our breathing 💡 Why we shouldn't put these conversations off, however tricky we might find them

It was a lovely audience who were full of insight and great questions.
