Jonathan Barney is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the library and information science field.

Jonathan holds a Master of Library & Information Science (M.L.I.S.) degree with a focus on Archives/Archival Administration from the University of Maryland College Park. He also pursued Graduate Work in Near and Middle Eastern Studies at Princeton University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Classics, and Linguistics from Utah State University, and a Certificate in Arabic Language and Literature from The American University in Cairo.

Throughout his career, Jonathan has held various roles at LAC Group, including Vice President of Capture and Proposal Development, Proposal Manager, Client Engagement Manager, Cataloger, Project Manager, and Library Technician. Prior to his time at LAC Group, he worked as a Geographic Materials Cataloguer at Princeton University, a Research Assistant at the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship, and a Manuscript Processor at Utah State University. Jonathan also gained experience outside the library field as a Web Content Manager at The More Good Foundation and an Executive Assistant at the Mosaic Foundation.

Jonathan's expertise spans proposal development, client engagement, cataloging, project management, and library operations. His educational background in history, linguistics, and Middle Eastern studies, combined with his professional experience, makes him a well-rounded and knowledgeable professional in the information science sector.
