I recently co-founded a company called Sainvus to acquire CPA practices in the USA. We have made our first investment and are looking for additional CPA practices to acquire.
Since 2018 I have been investing my capital and capital from like-minded third parties through Equable Capital.
Prior to that I was a partner in KKR’s private equity practice, where I spent 18 years. My last role at KKR was head of KKR’s Industrials investment team and a member of the Investment Committee within KKR’s Private Equity platform in Europe where I was based out of London (Jan 2016 -May 2018). Prior to that I was based in New York where I was a partner in KKR’s Private Equity practice in North America (July 2000 to Dec 2015). My experience spans the US and Europe across the industrial, consumer and energy sectors amongst others. I have been involved in transactions ranging from $100 million to $48 billion including corporate carve-outs, build-ups, IPOs, public-to-privates, LBOs and growth investments.
I live in New York with my two sons. I sit on the board of Assisted Reproduction Alliance a European fertility clinic roll-up Equable Capital seeded and continues to fund alongside other like-minded investors.
I am a member of the Council of Foreign Relations, a member of the board of directors of Team Rubicon and I previously served on the board of advisors of Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health from 2015 to 2023 and is now a senior advisor the board at Mailman
