Highlights
I am incredibly thrilled to announce my new role as VP, Head of Production at Monks (formerly Media.Monks). I am excited to bring the skills I have honed over the past few years to build a strong team culture, find new ways to integrate and leverage production capabilities and ultimately serve our wide range of clients in achieving their business goals. I have been onboarding the past couple weeks and am overwhelmed by the enthusiasm everyone has for the future at Monks and by the talent of everyone on my new team. Stay tuned for big things.
This week I am finishing a 9+ year tenure with SPCSHP. When I joined (then Big Spaceship) as a Sr Producer my aim was to make great work with great people. I had no idea that I would one day lead the Production, Studio and Business Affairs team and become one of the longest tenured employees with the company. I wear all of these badges with immense pride and am feeling incredible bitter sweetness with my departure from the agency.
Beyond being thankful for every human I worked alongside over the past 9+ years, I want to express gratitude to my friend and mentor, SPCSHP founder, Michael Lebowitz for providing a professional setting suited to my growth as a producer, leader and human and for pushing me beyond what I thought I was capable of when I first walked through the doors of the ship. Unending thanks to Cedric Devitt as well, for reenforcing the idea that Producing is creative and for inviting me onto his team of incredible Creative Directors to allow for that expression in the work. And to my dedicated Production, Studio and BA teams, thank you for listening, teaching, supporting and for all of the hard work that realizes concepts into reality. True dream makers, all.
Stay tuned for what's next for me. It's big and challenging and I couldn't be more excited about it. Onward.
