🤯 ! Almost every major bank has launched an initiative to remove divisional barriers and integrate the entire company into a single functioning institution with names such as “OneGS” or “One Blackrock”. Morgan Stanley and Citi also have similar initiatives.

The customer journey at these banks can touch almost every division - LevFin, M&A, PWM, Asset Management, VC, etc. However, understanding the correlation between overall time spent with the client (emails, calls, etc) across all divisions and the ROI has been nearly impossible to calculate.

Gong is helping fix this! What does this graph tell you?

Paired with this data, Gong is able to identify common themes around pricing, competition, product gaps, etc.

In April of 2009, as a pre-dental sophomore at BYU, I took a chance on a flier passed around my Chinese class to launch the APAC region of a local startup software company (with four engineers, a few support folks and a handful of sales reps), starting at $10/hour. That leap led to a 12-year journey at Qualtrics, navigating uncertainties, market changes, and growth. From leading teams to opening new markets, the experience was both challenging and extremely rewarding.

At Qualtrics, I learned that success isn't always a straight line — there are obstacles, tough times, and plenty of uncertainty. After Qualtrics was acquired by SAP and later went public at a $28B+ valuation, I realized that the journey that started with a flier in class had taken me on an incredible ride. And yes, I never did pursue dental school! :)

Now, at Gong, the journey continues and the same lessons apply! Like Qualtrics, we have an exceptional product, talented team, amazing leaders and a growing category, but also we are familiar with facing new competitors, product challenges, and customer churn. Through patience and hard work, we are confident in building something truly remarkable at Gong. Excited for what the future holds; we are building something very very special! 🚀
