Things I think we should leave in the past...
➡️ Asking people to upload a CV and then also making them input the exact details of the CV into boxes.
➡️ Seven interviews, a 500-word task, a presentation, and then offering no feedback when it’s a ‘no’.
➡️ “5 years of experience” in a software/vertical that only emerged 3 years ago.
➡️ Listing the legal minimum number of holiday days as a staff benefit (!?).
➡️ Talking about neurodiversity while providing no actual accommodations.
➡️ Insisting on working in person when it isn’t necessary.
➡️ Businesses radically scaling back their WFH policy.
➡️ Monitoring employees every moment of every day.
➡️ Failing to praise extraordinary effort.
➡️ Not stating salary in a job advert.
