Along my teammates, I am joining the #SumaNetZeroChallenge 🌱
The #NetZeroIndex test gave me a 7% emissions reduction potential through changes on my habits that I am willing to make. This is slightly below Generation Z index (8%) and higher than the average intention emissions reduction in Spain (3.5%). We will have to keep pushing to improve it!
To achieve this target, I commit myself to make a series of changes in my daily habits:
✅ Along with reducing my read meat consumption, I am going to keep a close eye on my grocery basket to avoid buying any product in a non-recyclable package. Looking at society as a whole, It is sad and selfish not to promote the use/consumption of recyclable products when there is the possibility, and I am the first one to blame my self for that
✅ At least once a week, I will come to the office walking, which is easier said than done. For the record, I live 1.5km away from the office (not far at all). It might seem insignificant, but it is a starting point, and my intention is to increase as I get used to it.
✅ Last but not least, for every kilometer I drive my motorcycle, I commit myself to ride at least the same distance on my bike. To give you hard evidence, I upload a picture of the kilometer indicator right now which I will compare to my Strava at the end of the year.
