Pina D'Agostino Suraj Shah Caitlin Mullin
Hi friends and colleagues, I haven't been posting often (if ever), but I’m quite excited to be sharing some personal/professional news: as of today, I’ve rejoined the York University and York University - Osgoode Hall Law School community as the Assistant Director of the IP Innovation Clinic.
I’m thrilled to be reunited with Pina D'Agostino and am thankful for her trust in me to take on this role at a pivotal time for the Clinic and the IP and innovation space in Ontario and Canada. Now more than ever the importance of IP in the future of the province and country is becoming increasingly apparent. I look forward to working to increase business and commercialization impact for IP holders in Ontario.
I also want to thank and recognize @jennmaclean for her leadership at the university in this space. I look forward to working with her and her team.
And I’d be remiss not to mention the support of Intellectual Property Ontario and Peter Cowan for their financial and forward-looking support of this program. I look forward to contributing to the agency’s efforts to ensure the economic and commercial benefits of home-grown innovation remain in Ontario.
Lastly, I want to thank the team at Heer Law - Intellectual Property Law and Litigation and, in particular, Christopher Heer and Georgina Danzig. It has been illuminating to work with and learn from them while helping to contribute to the growth of the firm. I wish you all the best of success personally and professionally going forward.
For those in the IP and innovation space, please reach out— I’m keen to explore if and how we can collaborate to move the ecosystem forward.
Stay tuned and follow the IP Innovation Clinic as we’ll have much more to say and report about our initiatives and support offerings going forward!
