Josh Gottheimer, a native of North Caldwell, New Jersey, was raised by hardworking parents who instilled in him values of diligence and community service.

His professional journey began as a presidential speechwriter for President Bill Clinton in the White House, making history as one of the youngest individuals to hold this role.

Following his tenure in the Clinton Administration, Josh transitioned to roles such as senior advisor at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and author of the book 'Ripples of Hope: Great American Civil Rights Speeches.'

Josh later flourished in the corporate world, serving as General Manager for Corporate Strategy at Microsoft, where he delved into technology, innovation, and management.

He also contributed significantly as the Director of Strategic Communications at Ford Motor Company, aiding in the company's reputation restoration efforts.

Josh's public service inclinations led him to the Federal Communications Commission, where he broke ground as the institution's inaugural Director of Public-Private Initiatives.

Leveraging his FCC background, Josh was pivotal in founding Connect2Compete and JerseyOn, initiatives ensuring underprivileged students in New Jersey access affordable high-speed Internet for improved educational opportunities in the digital realm.

Apart from his corporate and public service roles, Josh has shared his knowledge as a history instructor at the University of Pennsylvania and as a visiting fellow at Princeton University's Center for Information Technology Policy.

He actively engages with various organizations, serving on the Rutgers Business School Advisory Board, AEPi Board of Directors, and participating in chambers of commerce in New Jersey and Ridgewood.

Josh's commitment to community is further reflected in his involvement with the transition team of County Executive James Tedesco and his affiliation with AIPAC as a staunch supporter of Israel.

Currently residing in Wyckoff, NJ, with his wife Marla and their two children, Josh Gottheimer's diverse background encompasses experiences in government, corporate strategy, public policy, and academia.
