Highlights
Thanks to the policy makers and home builders who are working towards a more stable housing market in Wisconsin. Here's a look at the current housing inventory for Dane County. Generally a balanced market should include closer to 6 months of supply!
Wisconsin remains one of the fastest-growing housing markets in the country. This is both great news for homeowners who are earning significant equity and an obstacle for first-time home buyers who are struggling to come up with large-enough down payments. Thank you to those Madison-based mortgage lenders who have created programs to support first-time home buyers with down payment assistance and other affordability tools. (data from Freddie Mac).

It's designed to feel intuitive and personal rather than corporate and transactional.
