Dr. Joxel Garcia is a highly acclaimed healthcare leader with a wealth of experience in corporate, international, federal, and state health administration, as well as academic and higher education settings.

With a background in both medicine and business administration, Dr. Garcia has held prominent positions including serving as the 14th Assistant Secretary for Health of the United States and as a Four Star Admiral in the US Public Health Service, where he advised on national public health and science matters.

Dr. Garcia's expertise spans various sectors, and he is currently leading initiatives to establish health centers of excellence focusing on education, training, research, and services.

His educational background includes an MBA from the University of Hartford, an MD from Ponce School of Medicine, and additional studies at the University of Puerto Rico.

Throughout his career, Dr. Garcia has held executive roles in prestigious organizations such as Ambitna, Aegis Health Analytics, American Express, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the DC Department of Health, among others.

He has also been involved in leadership positions in organizations like Faunus Global, LLC, Safe America Foundation, Ponce School of Medicine & Health Sciences, The International Healthcare Solutions Group, LLC, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, MAXIMUS Federal Services, Inc., Pan American Health Organization, and Connecticut Department of Public Health.
