My recent post on SysML versus OPM sparked some fascinating discussions, revealing just how much interest there is in different modelling methodologies. To keep the conversation going and dive into the world of OPM, I’ve put together an article that explores its structural relationships in detail.

This is the first of a two-part series where I unravel one of the key aspects of OPM — relationships. In this article, we’ll explore the four fundamental structural links that shape part-whole relationships, define attributes and operations, and model inheritance within a system.

I’m excited to share this with you, and I’d love to hear your thoughts — feel free to jump into the comments below!

🎉 Excited to share my latest creation: a Sprint Burndown Chart in Notion! 📉

As a long-time Notion enthusiast and productivity geek, I’ve been using it as my “second brain” for over five years. My productivity system might be a bit over-engineered (guilty as charged!), but it helps me cascade my goals into projects, break them down into tasks, and track everything meticulously.

With Notion’s new Charts functionality, I couldn’t resist trying it out by creating a sprint burndown chart. Ever since Notion formulas 2.0 came out, it’s been even easier to connect and roll up data across difference databases. There’s nothing quite like seeing the actual burndown line dip below the ideal burndown line — it’s the little things that make my day!

I’m thrilled about the potential for Notion Charts to evolve, especially in the BI space. I truly believe that Notion could become a game-changer in data intelligence. Here’s to continued innovation, Notion!
