It was an honor to join Congressman Mike Turner, DDC President Jeff Hoagland, and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Commander Lt. General Donna Shipton at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base last night to celebrate a significant milestone: 38,000 military & civilian employees inside the fence at the base – DOUBLE what it was just a 2 decades ago! Congratulations to all those who serve, veterans, and their families for all they have delivered in service to our nation – right here in Ohio!

Congratulations to Dayton Development Coalition President Jeff Hoagland on being recognized by Congressman Mike Turner for your tireless support of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Jeff and the DDC team along with Congressman Turner and the entire Ohio congressional delegation have enabled the United States Air Force to rely on Dayton and Ohio to protect our great country.

The economic impact at Wright Patterson has quadrupled from $4 billion to $19 billion—all while supporting thousands of military families! That momentum has spread across the state and Ohio is now leading economic growth in the Midwest growing companies like Intel Corporation in One Columbus, Worldpay in REDI Cincinnati, Honda in Dayton Development Coalition, JSW Steel in OhioSE, Ultium Cells LLC in Lake to River Ohio, Abbott in Regional Growth Partnership, and Sherwin-Williams in Team NEO.
