The founder of my alma mater, the University of Navarra, once wrote: "The task for a Christian is to drown evil in an abundance of good. It is not a question of negative campaigns, or of being anti anything. On the contrary, we should live positively, full of optimism, with youthfulness, joy and peace. We should be understanding with everybody, with the followers of Christ and with those who abandon him, or do not know him at all.
—But understanding does not mean holding back, or remaining indifferent, but being active"
I have always tried to live by that quote, which has nurtured my spiritual journey in my 30+ years of professional life, most of them devoted to my beloved CNN.
This past week, I have been the target of the most unfair, disgusting, sickening, twisted, and gut-wrenching smear campaign that I could have ever imagined. And living by the words of the aforementioned quote is HARD. Very HARD. And PAINFUL. But I will do it no matter how costly it might be because I truly believe them.
I don't need to say much more at this point. I can only ask those who know me two simple, yet powerful random acts of kindness to show support to me and Pamplonews, the hyperlocal news startup I founded and that I am passionately building.

Even though I hate begging for likes on social media, I ask you for an effortless, yet supportive dual action: Please join Pamplonews on WhatsApp here: https://pamp.news/6v3 (even if only for a day, two days, as long as you want) and follow my official Linkedin Pamplonews page: https://lnkd.in/eZYuAeAj.
I know it might sound strange for you to follow a hyperlocal news page about Pamplona, Spain. I know that you probably only hear about my hometown once a year during the Running of the Bulls Festival, if at all. This is not a marketing ploy. I wish it was.
Today, those simple actions will help to "drown evil in an abundance of good". Thank you 🫶
