I know the whole award thing can get a bit silly, but this is a real bucket list moment for me. Last night the Type Directors Club Awarded Best in Discipline in Communication Design to Sunday Afternoon for our work on Canal Magazine 🤯. I am genuinely honored and moved to be recognized for the typographic work we do for Canal Magazine. It's is a labour of love, a way to contribute, and pay homage to our community. Not in my wildest dreams could I ever imagine getting my hands on this award.

Thank you to the TDC, and this years Communication Design Jury for this outrageous honor. Mega shout out to everyone who has contributed to Canal, past and present.

Recently I’ve been organizing my hard drives, digging through old files, and re-discovering projects from the past. Many moons ago I was asked to have a think around a design system for Nike Air Max 1 Golf. Naturally I proceed to make everything out of golf balls. Unfortunately this project never got the green light, but I still have so much love for it, and since it’s #airmaxday I thought I’d share. In hindsight perhaps the golf ball googly eyes smiley face dude (GoolfBall) might have been a bridge too far. ⛳️⚪️🏌🏽‍♂️✔️ ♥
