Juanita Tolliver is an accomplished author, host, and political analyst. She currently serves as an MSNBC Political Analyst, Opinion Contributor for theGrio, and a Contributor and Guest Host for Sirius XM Progress.12 Tolliver previously held the position of National Political Director at Supermajority.4

With a background in political strategy and analysis, Tolliver has experience advising presidential and congressional campaigns and leading policy advocacy efforts. She formerly worked as the Director of Campaigns at the Center for American Progress Action Fund.1

Tolliver's debut book, "A More Perfect Party," is set to be published by Hachette Book Group in February 2025.13 The book explores the legendary party hosted by Diahann Carroll for Shirley Chisholm's 1972 presidential campaign and its impact on Black women in politics.3

Academically, Tolliver holds degrees from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.1
