Judy Levin

Pollution Prevention Director

Judy Levin, MSW, is the Senior Advisor at the Center for Environmental Health (CEH).1 She has spent 14 years advancing CEH's Procurement and Built Environment programs, collecting more than half a billion dollars of purchasing power for a healthier future.1 During her tenure, Levin has educated thousands of purchasers, from multinational corporations to private businesses, schools, and healthcare providers.1

Levin's work has been instrumental in passing two bills requiring labeling of flame retardants in children's products and creating numerous tools for purchasers to shift the marketplace toward healthier products.1 Prior to her role at CEH, she worked for 24 years as a social worker, building her organizing and advocacy skills.1

Judy Levin holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Michigan.2 While her current title is Senior Advisor, she has previously held the position of Pollution Prevention Co-Director at CEH.23 She is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and enjoys hiking with her family in her free time.1
