Julee Newberger has over 20 years of experience in developing and managing communications strategies for national nonprofit, governmental, and philanthropic organizations. She is a strong advocate for using technology and social media for creating positive social change. Julee is a skilled team leader, project manager, published fiction writer, and has won three creative writing fellowships.

Julee pursued an MFA in Creative Writing & Literature from American University and completed a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from University at Albany.

Throughout her career, Julee Newberger has held various roles in different organizations. She served as the Director of Marketing & Engagement as well as the Director of Creative & Content Strategy at American Institutes for Research. She also worked as a Writer & Strategic Communications Consultant as well as the Director of Marketing and Outreach, Education at the same institute. Her experience includes positions such as Senior Manager of Marketing & Outreach at American Institutes for Research, Communications Consultant at DAI, Senior Communications Associate at The Annie E. Casey Foundation, Senior Associate/Web Content Manager at ICF International/Caliber Associates, Managing Editor at The Benton Foundation, and Communications Specialist at the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
