The obligatory post-show photo op!

Thank you to all of you who made it to our Cannonball Adderley/Nancy Wilson tribute concert at Jao Tim last night! We had such a blast playing, it erased off all the little chaos from the earlier part of the day (thanks to all the kind souls that helped me along the way).

We're looking forward to present this show again in the near future, so please look out for us. If you'd like to have us in Jao Tim again, please let them know and we'll make sure to come back and play for you.

Special thanks to the band: KJ Wong, WeiLi Cheah, Isaac Marvin, Zulhilmy Zulkifli and of course the wonderful Junji Delfino for their immense energy and talent on and off the bandstand, and bringing out the music.

Big thanks to Jao Tim KL for having us.

Hi all!

Would you like to watch a jazz concert for a mid-week relaxing evening or to start your long holiday weekend?

I'll be performing with my band, the Julian Chan Quintet and featuring Junji Delfino, this coming Wednesday, 28th of June 2023 from 8:30PM at Jao Tim KL. We will be presenting music from the Cannonball Adderley & Nancy Wilson songbook. It'll be an evening of fun and soulful music that leans heavily on the blues and gospel influences in jazz, that Cannonball Adderley's band is known for (or called "soul jazz") in the 50s and 60s.

We hope you can join us as we would love to share all this feel-good music with you to end your Wednesday evening.

The Julian Chan Quintet featuring Junji Delfino: SOUL JAZZ - The Music of Cannonball Adderley and Nancy Wilson.

Venue: Jao Tim KL. 61 Jalan Sultan, KL. Date & Time: Wednesday, 28th June 2023. 8:30PM Tickets: RM100. Tickets available on their website.
