Julie Bayer Salzman is a seasoned filmmaker with a passion for storytelling that promotes empathy and compassion.

Beginning her career in 1995 in London, she honed her skills in film production and post-production, gaining extensive experience in budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing various aspects of the production process.

After working with renowned documentary filmmakers in Los Angeles, she co-created the award-winning documentary "Time & Tide" which shed light on the effects of globalization and global warming.

Transitioning from a Head of Production role to an Independent Filmmaker, Julie embarked on a journey of creating impactful films that focus on mindfulness and navigating life's challenges with grace.

Her series of short films, starting with "Just Breathe", have gained widespread recognition for their ability to connect with audiences on a deeper level and encourage healing and understanding.

Julie is known for her empathic storytelling and dedication to producing content that fosters healing, empathy, and understanding among viewers.

With a background in Anthropology from The University of Texas at Austin, Julie approaches her projects with a unique perspective that reflects a deep understanding of cultures and human experiences.

Currently associated with Wavecrest Films, Julie continues to work on projects that aim to inspire, educate, and promote collective healing through storytelling.
