Julie O'Mara is a prominent figure in the fields of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), as well as organizational development. She is a co-author of the Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Benchmarks (GDEIB), which sets standards for organizations worldwide. O'Mara's career began at Whirlpool Corporation, where she became the first woman hired as a manager in their management development program. She later worked in communications for The Marmon Group in Chicago.
