Fractional General Counsel

Julien Capers is a senior life sciences attorney with nearly 15 years of healthcare and legal services experience across biotech, medical devices, and healthcare. Most recently, he served as SVP, Legal at Vera Therapeutics, where he built the legal function from the ground up and led approximately $750 million in follow-on equity offerings and a $500 million debt transaction. Prior to Vera, he was Assistant General Counsel at Zogenix, contributing to the company's $1.9 billion acquisition by UCB Biosciences, and held roles at Establishment Labs Holdings, Morgan Lewis, and Bryan Cave. Julien brings both the experience and judgment to serve as a true legal partner to the leadership team.
