With a bit of a delay, I’d like to mention my participation at the ABA, IBA and IFA 16th Annual US and Latin America Tax Practice Trends Conference in Miami, a little over a week ago. It was, as usual, excellent and this year we had a record number of delegates. I was honored to speak at the Private Equity panel chaired by David Saltzman and Giancarlo Matarazzo, together with Adam Tejeda, Rociu Liu, Renato Coelho and Elizabeth Gonzalez. My continuation fund piece got a bit squeezed towards the end but it was excellent to discuss how this popular tool in the US PE market can be rolled out in LatAm.

Thanks to the conference co-chairs and Devon Bodoh, Andrea Bazzo Lauletta and Richard Winston and to Chris Tank for all the effort.

The (barely visible) picture is with my KPMG colleagues Javiera Suazo López and Cristina Sansonetti Hautala! Great catching up with them too.

Looking forward to the next one!
