Justin Gundlach is an attorney, researcher, and policy analyst with a primary focus on decarbonizing the electricity sector to combat climate change.

He has a diverse educational background, including a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from New York University School of Law, an M.Sc. in Economic History from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a B.A. in Social Science and German from Wesleyan University.

Justin has held various roles in prestigious organizations, such as serving as a Senior Advisor for Policy Implementation at the New York State Department of Public Service, Energy Committee Co-Chair at the New York City Bar Association, and Advisory Board Member at the New York City Environmental Law Leadership Institute (NYCELLI).

Throughout his career, he has contributed to multiple institutions, including the Institute for Policy Integrity at NYU School of Law, NYSERDA, Sabin Center for Climate Change Law, and Georgetown University Law Center.

Justin has also gained experience in different sectors, having worked as an Associate at Crowell & Moring LLP, an Energy & Climate Change Team Intern at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and a Research Assistant at the Institute for Policy Integrity at NYU School of Law.

His diverse background includes roles as a Contractor / Analyst at IMS Consulting, a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, an Intern at the U.S. Department of State, and a Clinical Teaching Fellow / Staff Attorney at Georgetown University Law Center.
