Happy International Women's Day! When I started work in the late 80's women worked but not many were leading. Thank goodness this has changed. I want to thank the many women who have helped me in my career but also to the men that helped me as a single mum and gave me time to be a mum and hopefully an asset! I am delighted to have been asked to join Thames21 Advisory Council.
I have volunteered with them over the last couple of years and have enjoyed every minute. They are a fantastic group of people who are passionate about our rivers, canals and wildlife. We have been lobbying government for a ban on plastic in wet wipes and are due the results of a consultation soon. 🤞🤞🤞
