Jyoti Gupta is a dedicated professional with a diverse background spanning urban theory, political geography, critical race and ethnic studies, collective action, community organizing, and qualitative and action research.

She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Community Research and Action, a Master of Science (MS) in Community Research and Action, an MPH in Urbanism and the Built Environment, a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology with a minor in Theatre Studies, and has also studied at Laurel School.
