I am excited to share that this week I took a new oath of office to join the State Department and lead the Health and Gender pillars for the U.S. of the G7’s Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment. I am thrilled to work at the nexus of public, private and international development sectors to mobilize and coordinate values-driven, high-impact, and transparent infrastructure investments to meet the enormous infrastructure needs of low- and middle-income countries as well as support the economic and national security interests of the U.S. and our allies.

It was bittersweet to close my chapter with the Department of Commerce last week. I recall the exhilaration I felt when I took my first oath of office in October 2021, excited to serve in an administration whose values align deeply with mine and in a Department poised to play a central role in the most significant investments in America in a generation. I am grateful for the many things I've learned and the ways I’ve stretched and grown over the past 18 months. I am honored to have been able to contribute to further the mission of the Minority Business Development Agency in a historic inflection point and to the work of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework to strengthen ties in this critical region. Mostly, I will miss coming to work each day with the passionate, creative, dedicated teammates I’ve come to know and love along the journey.
