Kai Malcolm is an accomplished individual with an impressive educational background. He graduated with honors as the Valedictorian from Shawnee High School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemical Biology with a perfect 4.00 GPA from Case Western Reserve University. Furthermore, he also completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Scientific Computing and Electrical Engineering at Vanderbilt University.

Throughout his career, Kai has been actively involved in various organizations. He served as a Research Assistant at Brown University and previously held the same position at Vanderbilt University. At Vanderbilt, he also gained experience in machine learning at the Slave Society Digital Archives and as a Thermodynamics Grader for ME 2220. Additionally, Kai worked as an Electronics Engineer at DZH Dynamics and led the Deposition Team at the Vanderbilt Robotics Team. He co-authored a research paper on the Mars Satellite Constellation with the Space Generation Advisory Council and contributed as an NPWEE Proposal Writer at NASA.

Kai's involvement extends to different projects and initiatives, including the Young Scholars Initiative at the Institute for New Economic Thinking, the Small Satellites Project Group at the Space Generation Advisory Council, and serving as a Buchanan Library Fellow at Vanderbilt University. He was also a NASA LSPACE MCA Scholar and worked as a Social Venture Think Tank Consultant at The Wond'ry Vanderbilt. Additionally, Kai was part of the One For the World Ambassador program at the Vanderbilt Effective Altruism Club.

Moreover, Kai gained experience as a Mechanical Engineer within the Vanderbilt Robotics Team, assisted the Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Case Western Reserve University, and worked as a Summer Research Assistant at Ohio Northern University. His diverse background showcases his dedication to academia, research, and innovation.
