Kaitlyn Mullin is a distinguished professional serving as the Senior Immersive Producer at National Geographic, where she has overseen the production of cutting-edge immersive documentary series, numerous short immersive videos for web platforms, a virtual reality (VR) experience for Oculus Quest, and various mobile Augmented Reality (AR) projects.

Before her current role, Kaitlyn honed her skills during a 16-month tenure as a Video Journalist at The New York Times. Her work involved editing, producing, and filming 360 videos for The Daily 360 project, which delivered a fresh 360 video daily for 14 months, resulting in a catalog of over 400 unique videos.

Kaitlyn Mullin is an alumna of the University of Southern California, where she successfully obtained a dual Bachelor's degree in both Biological Sciences and Digital Journalism. Her academic background provides her with a unique interdisciplinary perspective that enriches her storytelling and technological capabilities.

Passionate about pushing the boundaries of storytelling through technology, Kaitlyn Mullin aims to leverage her diverse skill set in creating content that pioneers the use of emerging technologies as powerful narrative mediums.

In addition to her current role at National Geographic and her past experience at The New York Times, Kaitlyn has also contributed to Applied Materials as a Solar Applications Intern, further showcasing her versatile expertise and commitment to exploring innovative realms.
