Kanmani Venkateswaran is a professional with a strong background in vulnerability, adaptation, and resilience to climate change and disasters.

At ISET-International, Kanmani has focused on utilizing qualitative methods to engage with various stakeholders in developing practical recommendations for communities to adapt and enhance resilience to climate change and uncertainties.

Kanmani's expertise extends to monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of resilience and adaptation programs, including the development of national-level M&E frameworks for climate resilience.

Previous experiences include working with the Ashoka Trust for Ecology and the Environment in India and the Zambian Red Cross/Red Crescent Climate Center in Zambia, assessing climate vulnerability and generating adaptation solutions for agricultural communities.

Kanmani holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) in Biology and Environmental Studies from Kenyon College, among other educational qualifications.

With a rich history of roles from research and teaching to internships and student research projects, Kanmani has built a diverse skill set and knowledge base that she applies effectively in her work.
