Kara Durski is an accomplished public health professional with over 19 years of experience in academia, private, and public sectors, both nationally and internationally.

She is skilled in public health policy, strategic planning, systems thinking, change management, financial planning, operations management, and program development and management.

Kara holds a Ph.D. in Design & systems thinking approaches to improve outbreak response & health system resilience, an M.P.H. in Public Health Administration and Management, and a B.S. in International Business, Spanish, Economics, and Operations Management.

Throughout her career, Kara has held prominent positions including Executive Officer at the ACT Accelerator, Deputy Director at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, and various roles at the World Health Organization focusing on high threat pathogens, Ebola outbreaks, and pandemic planning.

She has also worked as the Chief Operations Officer at Phillips Neighborhood Clinic and has experience in management consulting and commercial underwriting.
