I’m excited to share my next adventure with you. I've joined Accenture to lead the Talent & Organization (T&O) practice globally. T&O helps companies and their leaders fuel sustainable growth by connecting people and technology to unlock human ingenuity, finding ways to access, create and unlock new talent, and designing organizations to thrive amid change.
Most of you will know that I'm I am particularly passionate about tech + human. I am excited to lead teams that will innovate in this space, together with the broad base of industries and deep capabilities of Accenture and its ecosystem of partners. What could be more important in this era of rapid technological and AI advancement than to accelerate innovation in how we support people to grow and thrive, improve how we work with technology and create the next generation of organizations that fulfil their purpose and people promises?
I am energized by creating a step-change in business performance and value, innovating with fact-based and people-centred approaches, and creating the context for people and teams to do their best work. Throughout my career, I’ve worked at the intersection of strategy, technology and organization – from my early days in healthcare using data to improve delivery, to the .com and initial e-com waves, to cost and resilience, digital and now AI transformation.
I love helping organizations and teams create sustainable growth and lasting capabilities and I am particularly grateful for over two decades of professional life at BCG – most importantly, my clients, mentors, great colleagues and lifelong friends from around the world who I will continue to hold dear in this next professional chapter. Thank you for teaching me the value of accelerated and continuous learning, rapid and direct feedback, generous leadership and teaming and unwavering focus on insight, impact and trust.
We are living in incredibly exciting yet increasingly challenging times. The pace and ability of technology is rapidly outpacing our ability to effectively use it. Broader economic and social challenges will demand new levels of resilience, speed and innovation. We need new approaches how we organize work, how we learn, and how we work with new technology. We need to be more fact-based and people-centric by design. Technology has always been the human advantage when used in the right way. For this to be true going forward, we urgently need to create new ways to approach talent, organization and change.
I am thrilled and also humbled to take this next step – and hope you will encourage and challenge me along the way. Thank you Julie Sweet and Jack Azagury for your trust and collaboration and to the broader Accenture team in advance for welcoming me!
I look forward to connecting with you soon. With gratitude, Karalee
