Prior to his role at Treasure, Karel served as a Senior Associate and Chief of Staff at Sagard and Portage, where he was heavily involved in various facets of the business, including special projects, communications, investor relations, and operations.

He started his career in product management and software engineering at startup ventures in Toronto, Waterloo, and the Bay Area.

Karel has a background in Computer Science and attended the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College.

He was involved in launching and building ventures such as Diagram, where he was the first employee and worked on the founding teams of companies like Dialogue and Collage.

Karel Vuong has been associated with organizations like Darkbright Studios, Angel Investor, Sam & Karel Vuong Foundation, Treasure, and more, showcasing his diverse interests and contributions across various sectors.

His professional journey has included roles in product management at companies like Zazzle and BlackBerry, as well as experience as a software engineer.
