Karim Moussa is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the financial and investment banking industry.

Currently serving as the Co-CEO of EFG Hermes Investment Bank, Karim plays a pivotal role in managing the buy-side business of the Group.

Having joined EFG in 2008, Karim spearheaded the development of the Group's infrastructure PE platform and successfully closed significant deals, including Nasdaq-Dubai's take-private of Damas.

Karim's notable achievements include founding Vortex Energy, a venture that raised and deployed over USD500 million in renewable energy assets across Europe and completed substantial divestments for attractive returns.

In addition to his roles at EFG Hermes, Karim has a strong background in global banking, having served as a Vice President at Deutsche Bank where he played a key role in various high-profile transactions.

Karim holds a dual Master's degree in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin and has a solid educational foundation from the University of California, Los Angeles.

His diverse experience and expertise make him a valuable asset in the finance and investment sectors with a focus on asset management, private equity, and infrastructure investments.
