Karim S. Karim is a prominent figure in the field of X-ray technology, with a focus on advancing dual energy (color) X-rays to revolutionize imaging outcomes. His groundbreaking work enhances visualization capabilities while significantly reducing radiation exposure. Karim is associated with KA Imaging and the University of Waterloo, where he continues to drive innovative solutions in mobile and fixed X-ray imaging. His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a BASc in Computer Engineering, both from the University of Waterloo, along with an MBA in Health Sector Management from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Throughout his career, Karim has held various key positions, such as Executive Director of the Center for Bioengineering and Biotechnology (CBB) at University of Waterloo, Founder and CTO at KA Imaging, and roles in academia as a professor and associate dean.
