One month to go before the W3C TPAC.

This is the big meeting once a year which makes it possible for people participating to cross-discuss Web standards and resolve issues in a same space for one week. This is usually very intense.

This year is also a big milestone: 30 years of W3C!

What am I looking for this year? More discussions and cooperation on Web compatibility, including the Compatibility specs, but also the different ways every browser is coping and dynamically solving issues with broken websites (Site Interventions in Gecko/Firefox, Quirks in WebKit/Safari, Mitigations in DuckDuckGo). These are hotfix so the users can benefit of a working website. Sometimes it will take deeper modifications on the standards, the browser or the website to make it properly work.
