Karl Unterschuetz is the Outreach and Engagement Manager at Accelerate Montana, where he plays a crucial role in fostering entrepreneurial success in rural communities across the state. With over 25 years of experience in entrepreneurial ecosystems, he has a rich background that includes growing up in his family's organic agriculture supply business during the late 1980s, a period when the organic industry was emerging.
Before his current position, Karl managed the Northwest Biofuels Working Group and was instrumental in creating the Sustainability Award for the inaugural year of the Pacific Northwest Clean Tech Open. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in ecological science from Western Washington University and a Master of Science in business management and leadership from Antioch University Seattle.12
