Highlights

This past week I: • Did not complete a course, read a book, or learn anything new (apart from how to operate an oxygen cylinder). I was almost going to skip this #week4 update but I choose to post it because the lows, as much as the highs, are an integral part of my weekly tracking journey. • Was the primary caretaker for my uncle who contracted covid. The pandemic seems to be at loggerheads with India but incorruptible resilience and efforts will help us get through. Edlebert thank you for connecting me to Khalsa Aid India, an organization that’s been doing a fantastic job at supplying oxygen. My family will be forever grateful! • Offered to and drew sketches for friends who lost their dear ones to covid. While on one hand, it gave them something to remember their loved ones by, it helped me fight the feeling of helplessness.

It’s been a sobering week. Will come back stronger the next time around.

This past week I: • Audited the #apps installed on my #mobile. 149 – the current number of apps on my 128 GB device (surpassed my guess, big time!). Makes me wonder:

  • the ease with which I have shared access to my data
  • the #mindshare that I have continued to allocate despite limited/no engagement
  • at what stage (apart from memory constraints) do I delete an app, if ever? The next step is to track their usability & design, usefulness & constraints, and list down suggestions that I may have to improve them.

• Partially completed the 'Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes' course by #Google. Is this an out-of-scope topic for a non UI/UX person? Not one bit! I have always loved being around the #design function within the organization. This course is doing a great job at helping me build my design #intuition and better understand design #principles! A good read to explain this further - https://lnkd.in/eAXUUhy

• On non-mainstream front: I averaged out creating one digital sketch/ day.
