I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Senior Director of Product Management at Birdeye!
Flashback: 11th July, 2016 I walk into this IT services office in Noida, a lil nervous but more excited about this new stint I am starting with this company called Birdeye. Excited because I believe in the team & the idea; excited because it's hardcore product management. Excited because that's what I wanted to do, I will just being doing it with other smart(er) people out there. Nervous? well, because they don't even have an office here. Tough call? "Well - no problem, we will set it up", I think calming myself down waiting for a desk at the office.
7 years later: 11th July, 2023 I walk into the Birdeye California office, like I do twice a week. Still a lil nervous but still more excited.
From being the first product hire, to wearing multiple hats during this journey, to leading a new domain here, this has been some journey, some milestone.
As I remember the good ol' days when we did daily launches (if not twice in a day), forming the JIRA workflows and rules, contributing in selecting & setting up the India operations (and an office with a TT table), to seeing this team grow from ~50 to ~1000 people, and to playing 'some' part in growing this company to 100M+ in revenue!
Just want to thank Naveen Gupta & Neeraj Gupta for pulling me in. Ruchika Batra for my what-was-then a great product orientation, Pietro Consavari, Ameya Virkar, Lokendra Khandelwal, Sachin Gupta for always working together as a team in doing some cool stuff at some very cool speed.
