Kartik Sawhney

Kartik Sawhney is an entrepreneur and engineering and product leader with a focus on using technology for social good.

He has a background in product and AI engineering, having worked at companies like Microsoft (Cortana language understanding and Accessibility Innovation), Uber, and IBM Research.

Kartik holds bachelors and masters degrees in Computer Science from Stanford University, specializing in AI and human-computer interaction.

He has been involved in various tech-powered entrepreneurial ventures aimed at empowering people with disabilities, positively impacting over 12,000 individuals.

Kartik has received numerous national and international awards and scholarships, including the Queen's Young Leaders Award 2016, UN Young Leaders 2018, and the National Award for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities 2018.

Currently, Kartik is working on projects that utilize advancements in large language and action models to improve digital access for underrepresented groups and explore new interaction paradigms.
