Super excited to get back into writing regularly and sharing my thoughts more broadly.

I've been reading a TON of articles on how AI is disruptive and going to change the world, but a lot of them seem really clickbaity and not as substantial or realistic as I'd like.

So I decided to write something myself. Here are my 3 realistic predictions on how I see AI actually changing our lives over the next 3 years: https://lnkd.in/eQ4vHEb8.

A quick summary:

1️⃣ AI as Your Go-To for Analysis AI is going to be amazing at analyzing and summarizing huge amounts of text—think codebases, books, legal docs—but it’ll still struggle to generate long, coherent content. So, it’ll be more of an insight extractor than a novel writer.

2️⃣ Conversations with AI Will Feel Human We’re moving beyond clunky chatbots. Soon, talking to AI will be like chatting with a smart friend who really gets you. With real-time text, audio, and video understanding, interactions will be smooth and natural.

3️⃣ AI Will Blend Into Daily Life AI will become part of our everyday routines, anticipating what we need and working seamlessly with the tools we use. Picture asking your phone for your mom’s flight details or quickly sending a text—it’ll be done in a snap.

More and more companies seem to idealize a "north star metric" that can summarize their entire product, but this can lead to nearsightedness in decision making.

Instead, try to use "guidance metrics" that highlight different core actions users take within your product.
