Few weeks ago, there was a question on r/ProductManagement where OP asked how often do you talk to customers?

And I wasn't surprised to see what the top answer was.

Let's face the reality, many of us don't do as much as we should be doing.

This thread hit me hard and I started wondering how often I do it myself? How would my product improve if I did this more or better?

The role is surely demanding and taxing at times, but if you want to build better products and create value, there is no alternative better than talking to your customers.

To all those aspiring folks who reach out to me every week to understand Product Management, wrap your head around this concept.

TALK TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. Not only they love it, but you'll be amazed by the insights you could gain. Surely requires some perspective to handle it and opens up a lot of opportunities for growth and business.

And then there are various ways to do it...

My question today, to all the product managers out there in the wild, is how often do you talk to your customers and how do you do it?

Let's discuss ideas.

Also I wish LinkedIn had a dark mode.
