Kate Crosby is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in biology, zoology, environmental science, and data science. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology from Dalhousie University, a Master of Science in Zoology (Integrative Biology) from the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Honours in Environmental Science - Biology from Queen's University. Kate has held various key positions in reputable organizations, including Director of Plant Science at Local Bounti, Owner and founder of DeltaCT, Senior Scientist at California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Associate Fellow and Principal Scientist at Indigo, Data Science Innovation Lead at Bayer Crop Science and Monsanto Company, Data Scientist in the Emerging Leaders in Science (ELS) Program at Monsanto Company, Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Davis, and Data Manager at Canadian Healthy Oceans Network (CHONe). Additionally, she has contributed as a part-time sessional faculty at Saint Mary's University, Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Dalhousie University, Research Technician at Biodiversity Centre of Ontario at the University of Guelph, Field/Research Technician at Simon Fraser University, and Young Professionals International Intern under the Canadian Government at Università di Genova.
