With a background in Biology from Wesleyan University and a Master of Environmental Management specializing in Human Dimensions of Environmental Management from Yale School of the Environment, Kate has a solid educational foundation. She has held various roles across different organizations, such as being a Fellow at the Center for Behavior & the Environment at Rare, Communications Manager at Verra, and MARRISA Project Assistant at the University of Maryland. Kate's experience also includes working as a Consultant at El Sendero Pacífico, a Student Consultant at the Natural Resources Defense Council, a Field Researcher at the Wildlife Conservation Society, an Outdoor Science Instructor at OMSI, and an Environmental Educator at The Children's Nature Institute. Additionally, she has contributed her skills as an SAT Guru at Catalyst Prep LLC and as an Agribusiness Campaign Intern at the Rainforest Action Network. Kate's expertise lies in managing complex projects, leading teams, conducting trainings and workshops, developing program strategies, and crafting effective messages for diverse audiences. She possesses strong skills in systems thinking, group facilitation, community building, and clear communication of intricate concepts. Kate is well-versed in climate change science, communication, applied behavioral science, international climate policy, and conservation efforts.
