Kate Phillips is a highly skilled professional dedicated to supporting community-led research and advocacy to empower individuals with lived experiences and bring about social and policy changes.

With expertise in project management, feminist participatory action research, advocacy strategy development, policy analysis, writing, mediation, negotiation, and soft influencing, Kate excels in driving meaningful impact.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Modern Languages from the University of Oxford, an LGBTIQ Leadership certification from Leadership Victoria, a Policy Writing Course from Australian Progress/For Purpose, and an MSc in Social Development from the University of Wales, Swansea.

Currently serving as Senior Advisor for Policy & Advocacy at Plan International Australia, Kate has previously worked as a We Hear YOUth Project Worker at Thorne Harbour Country, showcasing her commitment to community engagement and social change.
