Kate Poole is an anticapitalist investment advisor who co-founded Chordata Capital in 2018 with a focus on moving money off of Wall Street into community investments that prioritize racial and economic justice.

With a background in the local investing ecosystem since 2009, Kate has been actively involved in organizations like Resource Generation, Regenerative Finance, and the New Economy Coalition, advocating for the redistribution of wealth and control of capital to frontline communities.

Kate holds a B.A. cum laude in Religion, Economic Sociology, and Chinese from Princeton University and has a diverse professional experience, including roles at Natural Investments, RSF Social Finance, and involvement in various economic development and research projects.

Aside from her professional endeavors, Kate Poole is a white Jewish dyke who enjoys dance, feminist performance art, and creating zines and comics.
