Kate Wik serves as the Chief Marketing Officer for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).12 She is responsible for the strategic direction, management, and oversight of marketing efforts for Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, including advertising, brand strategy, public relations, digital engagement, marketing campaigns, research, and sports marketing.2

With nearly 25 years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry, Wik joined the LVCVA in May 2020.1 Prior to this role, she spent almost a decade at MGM Resorts International, where she most recently held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing Strategy.12

Wik began her career on the agency side, working at global firms like TBWA/Chiat/Day in Los Angeles, as well as smaller agencies.1 This diverse experience has given her a broad perspective on managing agency partners and running complex integrated marketing campaigns.2

Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Wik holds a degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies from The University of Arizona.12 In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family.2
