Katelyn Bird is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the field of Neurology and Biomedical Sciences.

Currently, Katelyn Bird serves as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Boston University School of Medicine, where she contributes her expertise to the field and mentors future medical professionals.

Her previous roles include significant positions such as Movement Disorders Fellow, Neurology Resident, and Medical Intern at Boston Medical Center (BMC), where she honed her skills and knowledge in the realm of neurological disorders.

Katelyn has also been involved in academia as an Introduction to Biomedical Sciences Teaching Assistant and Instructor at Johns Hopkins University, Center for Talented Youth.

She has shared her passion for science and education as a Science Tutor and Teacher's Assistant at Neighborhood Schools Program (NSP) and as a Biology and Chemistry Tutor at GEAR UP.

Her early research experience as a Student Researcher in the Department of Surgery at the University of Chicago laid the foundation for her future academic and professional endeavors.

Outside of academia, Katelyn Bird has showcased leadership skills as a Color Guard Director at Bengal Brigade Band Boosters, highlighting her diverse interests and abilities.
