September was a busy month for our team!
We had the privilege of hosting 150 Black women entrepreneurs at our offices to kick off Cohort 2 of One Million Black Women: Black in Business. I had the opportunity to moderate a discussion with Nicole Pullen Ross, Megan Hogan, Gizelle George-Joseph, Jennifer Kopylov, Amal Alibair and Pamela Codo-Lotti, senior leaders from across the firm, as they shared meaningful words of wisdom with the entrepreneurs.
Through One Million Black Women, we also had the honor of supporting the launch of the Misty Copeland Foundation and Misty’s incredible new after school program, BE BOLD, bringing ballet to Boys & Girls Clubs in the Bronx.
We rounded it out with an action packed session at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation: Annual Legislative Conference, in conversation with elected officials about the importance of funding Black Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Excited at the progress and looking forward to all that October will hold.
