Highlights

May 11 · linkedin

In April, I reached a service milestone of 32 years at the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority. Now, it’s time to move on. I take with me a lifetime of treasured memories and many friends. I leave behind the satisfaction and deeply humbling experience of helping to build an organization uniquely structured to deliver on the promise of prosperity for all Canadians.

“People do business with people.” It’s the most important lesson I’ve learned. More than any project or initiative, I cherish the many relationships I have been privileged to share with the port authority’s talented employees and knowledgeable customers and partners around the world — relationships built through mutual respect, inevitable challenge, relentless curiosity and a reciprocal commitment to successful outcomes.

I have been especially privileged to lead, champion, and learn from so many accomplished women!

It has been my great honour to work at the Port and to help advance Canada’s international trade agenda.

Thank you all for your support and friendship over many, many years.

See you on the water.

I was privileged to participate in the ITF - International Transport Forum #ITF19 Summit last week to discuss maximising regional value through maritime connectivity investment, and to participate in a roundtable on industry performance measurements. #investment #transport
